Instructor, Reading and Writing (part-time)

Performs professional-level academic instruction, primarily in the areas of Reading and Writing. Also responsible for instructing applied academics. Models, mentors and monitors Career Success Skills and supports career development project-based learning. Ensures Literacy OMS goal for center is met or exceeded.
Minimum of two years'' experience. Computer literacy/skills. Ability to work flexible hours. Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, groups of managers, students, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts---such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions---to practical solutions. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw related conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction in mathematical or diagram terms, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Bachelor''s degree preferred; Possession of, or eligibility for, certification, license, or accreditation in the state in which the center is located. Driver''s license and CPR/First Aid certification. This is a part-time position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
